Bob began working in the computer industry in 1996 and entered the data center sector in 2000. Over the years he worked with various companies and gained valuable experience in many different aspects of data center operations. With his "jack of all trades" experience he found a huge need in the Ashburn, VA area with a huge collection of companies that have data center presence but no office presence in the area. While servers are supposed to just do their job we all know that this isn't always the case. In January of 2008 he founded Ransom Tech Services LLC after 2 years of providing consulting and remote hands support to various companies which now offers various technical consulting to organizations in many sectors.

We know that when you are dealing with tech you can't always plan for what is ahead. We also know that computers don't only work 9 to 5 on weekdays. As a result we try to provide flexibility at a very inexpensive cost. We also know that many data center infrastructures have great redundancy and companies would rather wait a few days for repair if it means a knowledgeable technician and a great rate and we focus on providing just that.

Currently the major focus of Ransom Tech Services LLC is remote hands support in the Northern, VA and Winchester, VA areas. Additionally we offer support outsourcing, office LAN support, and general consulting services. We also, in certain scenarios, offer consulting (with remote support) for organizations anywhere in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

When you have Ransom Tech Services LLC go to your site you will have someone that understands the basics of servers running Linux, Windows, and OSX, a solid understanding of computer hardware, understanding of networking concepts and the ability to work with switches and routers from Cisco, Juniper, and other vendors, as well as someone who understands these are your systems and, as a systems admin, you want things done according to the way you have designed your systems -- and if that isn't the case, we'll be happy to give your our recommendations.
